What a show: overwhelming in its sheer drabness – despite the blaze of gaudy colours nearly everywhere. Those first photographs though were superb.
As for the Watteau show. Rush, rush, rush there on this, its last afternoon as it is simply exquisite. What joy Antoine brought the world with his pencil and crayons.
